Reports coming from DRC are about impending protests against UPDF deployments in their country after despot and corrupt Museveni, the regional destabilizer, failed to pay $10billion of fine for crimes against humanity and massive looting.
In 2005 International court justice based in Netherland ruled that Uganda should pay DRC a sum of $10billion in reparations. The UN’s highest judicial body ruled that Uganda’s 1998-2003 intervention violated international sovereignty and led to the killing and torture of civilians and the destruction of villages. Two decades later the corrupt ruler of Matooke Republic is yet to pay.
Do not take Congolese silence on this hullabaloo deployment of UPDF, for stupidity. Many of Congolese believe Museveni’s junta army is not the solution to insecurity in their country but part of the problem.
I want to salute brave and courageous Congolese calling inept Museveni off-their soil, he is more harmful to the region than a peace maker.
