Dear citizens of Matooke Republic, like I have always argued, big events or national days like Uganda’s Independence anniversary, Tarehe Sita and others, are favorite occasions for Yoweri Museveni the degenerative leader to project himself as a Pan-Africanist and grand African statesman.
Despot Museveni has variously used his pseudo Pan-Africanism tale and empty brags to try and justify his indefinite and largely destructive tenure in State House. He told Ugandans at one time that he could not relinquish power “until East Africa had achieved a political federation.” What a fantasy!! If he says he cannot leave power “until Africa is united.” he is definitely telling oppressed Ugandans that he is not going anywhere. With these sentiments he wants to emphasize the message that he is slated to rule until the grave, because he knows how difficult it is for EAC to be a federation when he still rules Uganda.
The regional trouble maker’s “pan-Africanist” veil also conceals more devious schemes. To keep himself relevant and project his supposed invincibility, he has dragged and trapped Uganda into expensive conflicts in East and Central Africa, that it won’t be easy to solve when he is still in power.
Dictator Museveni is in no form of ruling Uganda, let alone the EAC federation, plus, no country in the region would ever wish to apply his repressive and tyrannical models of ruling. If anything the entire region will be at peace the day he will be out of power.
