In Matooke Republic children sit on bricks, but despot Museveni redirects education budget to his lodges

The circus that marked the reopening of schools in Uganda, after two years of closure, pushed many to think of how much money goes to waste to satiate the ego of corrupt, senile, aged dictator Museveni (money which otherwise would go into improving schools, hospitals, and other social services). How on earth do children sit on bricks in an overcrowded class with no desks, when the heartless dictator can easily commandeer huge sums from the national coffers to refurbish his state house and lodges?

Poor denizens of the Matooke Republic, I always warn you – if you don’t wake up, one day you will wake and find you are actually on sale, to satisfy Museveni’s insatiable cravings for money, even as he clearly hates Ugandans! Museveni has just sentenced Uganda’s education to death, and the future of millions of Ugandan children is on the chopping block. It is gone! They will be charcoal sellers, while the Rwakitura Magia grows fatter.

What can a child that sits on a brick in class, or a log, or on the bare ground in dilapidated schools overgrown with weeds learn? Even the teachers in the Matooke Republic are beggars! But the arm-rotting dictator is actually very happy with this state of affairs. The despot of 36 years (and counting) has discovered a secret, that to operate a life dictatorship, he needs a population of the ignorant, illiterate, and impoverished people. They are the easiest to oppress, repress, corrupt, and disorganize.

The collapsing education system in Uganda is a deliberate mission by the senile tyrant to achieve that dastardly goal!

Again you poor, derided, hungry and jobless people, I warn you if you don’t wake up…shauri yenu!!
