DRC eyes the help of Turkey, as Museveni’s invasion is eyed with more suspicion

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has concluded his two-day visit to DRC where he held a one-on-one talks with President Félix Tshisekedi and signed agreements of security and defence, transport, infrastructure and several others in the economic field. Erdogan’s visit to the DRC follows President Tshisekedi’s to Turkey in September 2021, where the two Heads of State held bilateral talks in Ankara. Later that year, Presidents Tshisekedi and Erdogan met again on the sidelines of the Turkey-Africa summit in December. Following Erdogan’s visit to DRC, President Tshisekedi said that the DRC requested Turkish assistance in the long-running fight against militias in the conflict-torn east of the country.

It so happens that Despot Museveni is struggling with his failed “Shujaa operation” that is remaining with less than 2 months to its lapse and that has consumed Uganda’s crippled economy Shs. 89.7 billion, yet senile Museveni has nothing to record as an achievement.

Well, DRC is opting for Turkey, and soon kicking out the unwelcome advances of the failed Ugandan despot.

As the new developments take course, Museveni is on his part struggling with the shame he will bring back home. He is now crafting a way to blame his failure on Rwanda but his maneuvers won’t stick since he is using the same failed RNC propagandists to cover him. They’ve never succeeded in any of his requests to them.

With soldiers and money lost in pursue of a failed cause, Ugandans will ask for accountability.

Long-suffering residents of the Matooke Republic, this is former NRA Kadogo, always taking the trouble to keep reminding you what a misguided regime rules you!
