Ever since he forcefully assumed power in 1986, Museveni has always had the ambition of being a figure of influence on the continent. 

 “We must build a center of gravity for Africa. Many countries in the world have centers of gravity: the USA for the Europeans; Russia for the Balkans; China for the Far East; India for South Asia. Where is Africa’s center of gravity,” the tyrant said as he commented on recent global development.

However, thanks to his repulsive despotic tendencies, the tyrant has found himself progressively isolated and treated as a global pariah.

Dictator Museveni’s tyranny has rendered him home-ridden because, after the election-time killing, torture, and arrests, most influential leaders don’t want to be associated with him or events organized in their capitals. His brutal crackdown on opponents has led to tough travel sanctions against his oligarchs.
