Under Museveni’s rule in Uganda, thousands of people were killed for their political views. The “lucky ones” fell to the barrels of a gun, the unlucky ones were either tortured to death or died an agonizing death by poison. This is the legacy Museveni is set to leave with almost 40 years in power.

Senile Museveni derives his taste to kill from back in the day when he worked for Obote’s intelligence and his first missions included eliminating, with of poison, Sir Edward Muteesa and later moved on to take out the likes of Generals Benon Biraaro and Aronda Nyakairima, Deputy Inspector General of Police Paul Lokech, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, Archbishop Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga and many more.

When arm-rotting Museveni captured power, he continued to instrumentalize poison as a weapon. Actually, poison was never idle in his world because he also applied it in the bush on those he suspected of to be smarter.

Realistically, Museveni can’t digest an intellectual debate or a the slightest diverging opinion. Diverse ideas and debate is something he detests, it makes him feel threatened, and whenever someone challenges him, he quickly opts for elimination.

If anything, Museveni is not bad at everything, at least he is good at assassinations, poison torture, imprisonment and bribery.

He is really good at that.
