During a recent interview with Voice of America’s Peter Clottey, Museveni found it convenient to blame long gone colonialists for the torture his regime carries out on his victims. He blamed the torture of novelist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija and other incarcerated supporters of the opposition on “traditional ideas and colonialism that took place between 1800 – the 1960s”

Dear oppressed, impoverished, and traumatized people of the Matooke Republic, your merciless tyrant has mastered the art of committing a crime and denying the same with no trace of shame. Not for nothing did Milton Obote call him a liar who only tells the truth by accident!

The Matooke Republic has suffered an exodus of its best brains ever since dictator Museveni forcefully grabbed power. The most recent victims of the dictator’s ruthless oppression are Kakwenza Rukirabashaija and Stella Nyanzi. The two are among the most brilliant writers Uganda has ever had.

Everyone knows how senile Museveni set his thugs on Kakwenza, whose only crime was to highlight the oppressor’s ills. Kakwenza is currently nursing his torture injuries in exile.

Had the writer not fled Uganda, he would be dead today. The same applies to Stella Nyanzi whose outspokenness irritated the despot who resorted to harassing her at every turn.

Dear captive Ugandans, this is former NRA Kadogo reminding you that the tyrant does not care whether every Ugandan flees the country, if it serves his goal of ruling to the grave.
