Dictator Museveni posted on his Twitter handle a video where he was ostensibly interacting with selected NRM youth. Numbering less than 10, the young people were spread out in a tent many meters away from the despot who was sitting under the shade of trees, apparently afraid that the young people could infect him with Covid which he knows would not spare him.

As usual, the tyrant’s charm offensive was aimed at distracting Ugandans from the pile of challenges he has caused them during his 36 years of tyrannical rule. As he interacted with the said young people at his palatial statehouse, thousands of young people are languishing in jails and torture chambers while others a nursing lifelong disabilities inflicted on them by the tyrant. Millions of Ugandan youth are out of school while the few who managed to scrape through the collapsed education system are jobless because the few job opportunities available are reserved for the dictator’s close family, his tribesmen, and his cronies.

The video which he titled “exchanging greetings with the bazukulu” is an apparent PR stunt to hoodwink the country that he cares for the country and its future. Far from it! The despot only cares for power and his family as he has always stated. His strategy is to ask his ruthless security people to round up a few young people from different areas of the country and bring them to him. The security coach the youth to praise the despot during the interaction for the camera, and at the end of the ‘interaction’, each one of them is handed a brown envelope containing a few thousand notes upon which they are shipped back to where they were picked from.

Ugandans are no longer blind to dictator Museveni’s distractive stunts. That way, he will never know what suddenly hit him when Ugandans decide to say “enough is enough” and take back their country.

I am just a former NRA Kadogo, capable of decrypting senile Museveni’s distraction tactics that he has used since the bush war terrorism.
