Following Ugandan media reports that an elderly Rwandan refugee called Emmanuel Munyaneza, 69, was found dead in his house in Kakajjo, Namasuba, a Kampala suburb in Uganda, before even an autopsy to identify the cause of death, Obed Katureebe hurriedly rushed to his Facebook page Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere, and blamed the old man’s death on Rwanda. 

It is not a surprise that Obed did that because his job is to keep RNC activities in Uganda alive and the only way he can achieve that is when relations between the two countries are bad. Obed is a devil’s messenger. But, why does he take his readers to be so naïve! 

First, at the age of 69, living a poor and miserable lifestyle, the man might have succumbed to natural causes. Being a Rwandan refugee does not protect Munyaneza from a cardiac arrest or any other natural causes of sudden death. 

Second, RNC members still roaming in Uganda who are unhappy of developing relations between the two countries are trying anything to derail the efforts being made. The old man might have been their victim no wonder the immediate jumping on his death to blame the Rwanda. 

Third, rogue CMI officers that for years worked very closely with RNC are worried about losing what they have been benefiting from – the terror acts of RNC. These CMI officers are not happy with the normalization of relations and can do anything to keep their masters in action. Munyaneza might have been their victim. 

Forth, Munyaneza might have been a victim of criminals activities despite media reports that nothing was stolen from his house. Stealing is not the only crime one can fall a victim of.

Fifth, aren’t there Ugandans who die in Rwanda? Do Rwandans claim that deceased Ugandans in Rwanda were murdered by Ugandan operatives? No they don’t. Why blame every death of a random Rwandan in Uganda on Rwanda?

In a nutshell, Obed Katureebe taking his readers so naïve proved that he is a fool to not have seen it through these lines in a rush to blame Rwanda. 

In fact, Katureebe is an enemy not only to Rwanda but also to Ugandans mostly those who are using him because bad relations between the two countries affect both nations negatively.
