Yesterday, Museveni’s UPDF Spokesperson issued a statement claiming to be in control of the situation in the Karamoja sub-region. The statement came after outraged Ugandans mounted pressure on Museveni, condemning the Karamoja killings in the name of “putting them out of action”, as if they are animals and not Ugandans.

More than 20 alleged Karamajong cattle rustlers were killed in one week, and 309 were killed from July 2021. Not shocking at all that in Museveni’s brutal rule, reports showing the numbers of people killed are considered an achievement. 

As usual, the tyrant rejoices when Ugandans are dying during mass murders, and all kinds of brutality.

At first, senile Museveni did not want people to know what was happening in Karamoja, until it was revealed that his tribalistic urges targeted more than 251 alleged cattle rustlers, who were killed in broad daylight. Then he began boasting of “numbers of Karamojong killed.”

Dear long suffering and traumatized slaves of Museveni, your tyrant clearly does not recognize the Karamojong as people!
