Dictator Museveni’s sponsorship of M23 is further exposed by the magnitude at which his RNC protégés have taken interest in the fighting. During skirmishes reported yesterday near the DRC-Uganda border, the RNC Kampala agents were doing commentaries akin to those seen during a football derby, predicting and projecting what was to be expected next. At the end of the day, the RNC agents were celebrating what they fictitiously called the “crushing of M23-RDF” by the “mighty UPDF.”

Doctored video footages followed; RNC agents like Edgar Tabaro and Prossy Bonabana began showing how UPDF had entered Congo and “rescued DRC by preventing an imminent fall of Bunagana.” One of the footages showed a soldier in uniform with the Ugandan flag and show-biz style sunglasses smiling to the camera as a couple of men in civilian clothes were being loaded onto a Ugandan military truck. These were supposedly M23 rebels allegedly captured by dictator Museveni’s troops – who had made an illegal incursion with the fiction that they went to “intervene and cut short the rebel advance on Bunagana.”

This all smacks of a stage-managed attack on Bunagana, which removes any doubt that dictator Museveni is behind the resurfacing of M23.

It should be recalled that when the rebel group was defeated in 2013 by the UN intervention force, majority of the M23 fighters under the command of Sultan Makenga fled to Uganda where they were accorded outmost hospitality, and even given further training, on the instructions of dictator Museveni, in Ugandan military camps.

One Willy Ngoma, who identified himself as the spokesperson of the M23 movement, gave an interview on BBC Gahuzamiryango where he confirmed that the new M23 offensive was commanded by Sultan Makenga. All point to one thing: it is senile Museveni that is mixing the brewing pot of instability!

Although he knows he has no agreement with the DRC government to cooperate in the fight against M23, the tyrant took it upon himself to send his troops to invade a couple days ago, ostensibly “to stop M23 from capturing Bunagana.”

In a few hours, the dictator’s propaganda trolls were showing off a dozen smiley faced young men as “POWs.” People were supposed to believe these so-called POWs were taken in the few minutes after the incursion!

The tricks of a conman are always easy to deflate!

Museveni is after perpetuating his ongoing mineral plundering mission in the same region of eastern DRC which he has already invaded with the lie that he is “pursuing ADF Islamists.” This is not the first time the despotic tyrant is creating multiple rebel groups in his criminal purposes either!
