Under Museveni’s rule, bribing MPs is the norm as long as it favors his NRM agenda. And as we speak, every MP who voted for the new Speaker Anita Among will be rewarded Ugx 5 million. And as corrupted as he is, Museveni authorized more than Ugx 20 billion, to be distributed with immediate effect to 401 MPs who voted for her new position.

Museveni bribes MPs to vote for leaders that he wants, just to exercise his well-known “use and dump strategy” as he has always done. Poor taxpayers of the Matooke Republic in the meantime go hungry, in millions!

The same despot bribes MPs for voting out the responsibilities of some NUP opposition members. For instance, under Museveni’s orders, MPs who voted out MP Zaake Francis have also been bribed 1.5 million Uganda Shillings with a promise of 30 million.

Of course the senile tyrant started bribing MPs long ago, such as when they were “gifted” to remove term limits, and to remove age limits, for him to rule until he dies in power. But now, it is beyond belief!

Hapless, helpless Ugandans, you will suffer for very long!
