The journalist is currently fighting for his life in a hospital after his captors dumped him at Bukwo river bed unconscious.

Demonic, sadistic tyrant Museveni long ago turned his Matooke Republic into a forbidden land for journalists. Journalists’ rights are brutally violated. They are frequently shot at, jailed, and subjected to enforced disappearances, torture among other forms of repression employed by the security forces on tyrant Museveni’s orders.

The ageing despot’s persecution of journalists is mainly aimed at concealing his atrocities and in so doing, he has legalized, or instituted state brutality, to suit his interests. His security chiefs viciously and heartlessly claim that the journalists are battered “for their own good!” Just imagine!

The ruthless dictator hates free media and the fourth estate at large, he opted for dispatching  dimwitted social media trolls and minions like Obed Katureebe aka “Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere”, on taxpayers’ money to relay constant propaganda.
