Dubbed Former RDCs and RCCs Association (FORCA), the association is made of former banansiko (“bush fighters” of captain, major and other military ranks), and NRM cadres who have been at the helm of districts and cities for decades while pushing despot Museveni’s agenda to rule until his graveyard.

They particularly oversaw the rigging exercise in the last year’s presidential elections to keep the ageing despot in power. As part of his popular way of “rewarding” his lieutenants, the tyrant put them on Katebe – “the cold seat” – without notice. But little did senile Museveni know he was opening a Pandora’s Box. The resentful fellows won’t spare him. Watch this space!
