Clearly, Katureebe is shaped by his boss the octogenarian dictator who continuously make references to events of a century ago and trying to fit them into the current affairs – we are in 2022 the world moved on; we are no longer in the ancient NRA hierarchies that faded away decades ago. 

State diplomacy and protocols is so foreign to Katureebe that he cannot distinguish how Presidents are received in foreign countries vis-à-vis normal individuals. He confuses the two simply because his empty head works like that of his master – stuck in the past.

He is now stuck in choosing to remain Gakwerere with shame or come out as Katureebe and face sanctions for the defamation-related crimes he committed through social media.

After hurling insults to Gen Muhoozi, he is now turning guns to Minister Jim Muhwezi. How many Ugandans and Rwandans will Obed insult in his quest to massage his master’s ego?
