When the dictator was busy ordering his puppet goons to kidnap, torture and kill innocent Ugandans, he thought he was too powerful and could do as he pleased.

When he was warned that he would be sanctioned if he continued on his path of human rights violations before, during, and after last year’s elections, he dismissed the warning as a bluff.

Instead of heeding and stopping the carnage, the tyrant went on a kidnapping and torturing spree, sending his dreaded ‘drones’ to kidnap whoever he perceived as a non-NRM supporter.

Fast forward, the tyrant has now realized the sanctions were never a bluff after all. In a panic, the cowardly tyrant has ordered the summoning of selected envoys to negotiate the lifting of the sanctions. Out of fear and shame, the despot has not done much traveling out of the country himself.
