On November, 21, 2020, Sergeant Major Robert Kabera, a renowned drunkard and womanizer hid behind his wife’s absence from home and raped his own 15-year old daughter. The victim’s life was ruined and still waiting for justice while the criminal got off scot-free and roams around on Kampala streets.

Robert knew that he risked at least 25 years in jail for defilement. He immediately hatched a plan to flee. That’s how he crossed into Uganda.

To avoid his impeding deportation, Robert cooked up a story that he was being persecuted but failed to give details.

To legitimize his stay in Uganda, he formed alliances with anti-Rwanda elements operating in Uganda under RNC terror group.

Early this week, Ugandan authorities apprehended him and we all thought that the 15 Years old girl is finally going to get justice.

Sadly, two days later, they have released him. What is more disturbing is, the RNC operatives in Uganda, Sulah Nuwamanya and Prossy Bonabana are the ones that secured his released and even posed for photoshoot right in front of a police cell.

Senile Museveni’s anti-Rwanda platform Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere Facebook page run by the RNC operatives in Uganda was the first to break the news of the rapist release.

If criminals flee justice in Rwanda and find safe haven in Uganda, then we are far from truce. If Uganda finds it befitting to serve as a ground for criminals and elements bent to destabilize Rwanda, then we may sadly have go back to the drawing board. Food for thought.
