Katureebe was initially arrested and placed under a CMI detention, but it was all a pretense to show that they were trying to mend relations with Rwanda by cracking some elements that have been at the center of hostile propaganda against Rwanda. However, that is a crappy story.

Truth be told, RNC goon “Gakwerere” though arrested in a drama show early last month, was never questioned or prevented from smearing Rwanda through his social media platforms commonly known as “Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere” on both Twitter and Facebook. The platforms kept running as usual, but in a different style and tone. This stamped our submissions that the page was handled by a clique of Museveni-sponsored loudmouths.

Later, Katureebe was released and resumed his vitriol and abusive propaganda on Rwandan leaders in the same style and language he used before his arrest on the 3rd of May. Ofwono Opondo is lying that “Gakwerere” remains under custody, as a pretext to “protect” him from harm, from which he accused Rwanda to plan n and execute, which is not true.

We have argued constantly that harboring and protecting people like Obed Katureebe, Robert Kabera, and other RNC affiliates in Uganda, despot criminal Museveni shows once again that he is a treacherous masquerader who preaches messages of peace and stability in the region, yet continues to harbor and protects those that harm Rwanda and her leaders.

And as such, Ofwono Opondo, Gakwerere, and their sponsor despot and deceitful Museveni rest assured that no hostile propaganda from Uganda will go unanswered, always in the same currency.
