One has to watch a delegation from DRC that paid a courtesy call to criminal despot Museveni last Friday to see how low Congo sunk in the abyss of confusion and desperation.
Spearheaded by Minister Alexis Gisaro, the DRC delegation was hosted by senile, arm-rotting dictator Museveni in the most pitiful manner which no diplomat would love to be subjected to.
There is no sane mind that can believe that inept criminal despot Museveni can be the problem solver on the issues of Congo. If anything, he is the culprit and an accomplice to its misery and the plight of its citizens. How can a hyena support the prey it feeds on? (But of course trust the Congolese weak and inept leadership to make a joke of themselves).
War monger and regional destabilizer Museveni has been a major destabilizing influence in DRC, and the great lakes region. It is Museveni who back in 2012 decided to accommodate the rebel group members of M23 in Uganda, specifically in Mgahinga forest reserves that neighbor the northern east of DRC.
While it was against Kampala’s declaration to settle the militiamen close to the DRC-Uganda border, criminal despot Museveni kept them in Mgahinga reserves. He then enrolled them for refresher-military training in Bihanga training camps. He later equipped them with all sorts of ammunition, medicines, and other logistics and redeployed them back to DRC, specifically Tsanzu and Runyonyi which they used as a base.
Dictator Museveni today keeps some of his soldiers in DRC where they do nothing else but loot its minerals and timber in the name of fighting a rebel group called ADF Nalu. ADF, a group of hit-and-run militia men created by despot Museveni himself as a pretext to go back to DRC.
A quick reminder that Museveni’s presence is not recent, he has a pending bill of more than $300 million which the International Criminal Justice Court ruled as payment in reparations for crimes his army committed last time (the 1990s) that it was in DRC. He is yet to foot that bill.
But the bankrupt Kinshasa regime, weak and therefore complicit in DRC misfortunes is about to learn a hard lesson by crawling to Museveni.
They will be screwed up even more!
