A so-called US presidential executive order on abductors and incarcerators of American citizens in foreign countries has sent anti-Rwanda reactionaries in a fever of excitement. Many of them are spewing all sorts of doom prophecies about Rwanda and it leaders. It is as pathetic as it sounds.
One entity of course to jump on that hullaballoo is none other than the pseudo Facebook account, “Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere”, run by an RNC Kampala agent Obed Katureebe – also an insane obsessed anti-Rwanda propagandist. The loser coward claims that “Rwanda will be slapped with sanctions”, more a reflection of his wishful thinking than anything else.
The fool even claims “it will be almost impossible for Rwanda to survive few months”, even when the country did not feature among the targeted states. How deluded are these trolls?
A quick reminder that today, Uganda is enduring the US sanctions since 2020. The same sanctions that put criminal despot Museveni and his top officials in national army in diplomatic minefields and put an end to some of trading deals between the two countries.
On April 25, 2019, an American tourist Kimberley Sue Endecott was kidnapped in Queen Elizabeth National Park by gunmen who were acting on instructions of criminal despot Museveni, they later asked for ransom in exchange for her release. It was a well-calculated move to fleece money out of victim’s family but it did not end well. Later more than six top military officials were placed on travel ban sanctions and had some of their assets frozen in the US.
Today senile diaper-wearing dictator Museveni and some members of his cabal cannot set foot in the US because of their heinous felonies. Criminal despot Museveni himself was caught red-handed in New York in a corruption scandal having receiving bribes from a Hong Kong-based Chinese honcho Patrick Ho who wanted favors to do business in Uganda.
Again no amount of projections will put Rwanda in the same category with Uganda concerning the abuse of human rights, corruption, violence, abductions, illegal detentions, torture and elimination of political opponents and systematic killings.
