We keep telling fellow Ugandans that despot Museveni is a worst tragedy that befell our country. The arm-rotting tyrant has stolen every resource of Uganda not forgetting plunging the nation into a huge public debt.

Imagine hiring incompetent engineers to take care of a sensitive project like the construction a dam just because those people are related to the dictator and have to share the project resources amongst themselves to the detriment of suffering Ugandans.

Despot Museveni’s idiocy has already caused several disasters in less than three years. Isimba plant has more than 384 defects both structural and mechanical snags which endangers innocent lives in its surroundings.

Had criminal Museveni followed the Stand Operating Procedures for hiring, this means the qualified engineers would have delivered the dam construction project within the set timeline. As initially designed to comfortably release a maximum design flood of 4,500m3/s (4.5 million liters per second), the dam would have addressed the issue of access to clean water which remains a dream in Uganda.

Whatever happens to innocent, encircled, besieged Ugandans should surprise nobody, just because the cancer-stricken ruler doesn’t care about the people. But history will absolve us, one day despot Museveni will be held accountable for swindling taxpayers’ money and running the country as his personal kiosk.
