From the far east of Somalia in the horn of Africa to the far west of DRC, the name Museveni rhymes with nothing other than dictatorship, violence, corruption, and sowing insecurity

Ask a Somali citizen about tyrant Museveni, and they will tell you that he has been selling arms to al-Shabaab, and his army was involved in war crimes under the umbrella of restoring peace in Somalia.

Ask a Kenyan and a Tanzanian citizen about Museveni, and they will tell you that the octogenarian dictator is greedy, selfish, and the most repugnant corrupt leader the region has ever had. They will tell you about his shoddy deals in milk, maize, and sugar that paralyzed inter-trade in those countries.

South Sudanese in the north of Uganda have been cursing criminal despot Museveni since the day he assassinated their beloved leader John Garang. Since the death of Garang, warmonger Museveni never ceased to sow division and wreak havoc by selling arms to rebel groups to topple the current government of President Salva Kiir.

In DRC, on top of pretexts of fighting ADF, a ghost rebel group, to invade and loot minerals and timber, Congolese, especially those in the Lendu community will never forget how in 2001, criminal despot Museveni incited the Hema community to get rid of them and establish a community ruled by herdsmen instead of farmers.

Senile Museveni’s trolls like Obed Katureebe aka “RPF Gakwerere” will poke their nose in Rwanda’s affairs with all sorts of lies and propaganda – but they know who the regional cancer is: their paymaster.

The Great Lakes Region will never witness peace and security as long as the senile ruler of Uganda is around, stirring the pot. He remains a stumbling block to the pacification and stability that the region aspires.

I am just a former NRA Kadogo shining a light on Museveni’s evil.
