For every ruthless, heartless, crime that was committed by Uganda’s previous leaders like Idi-Amin, criminal despot Museveni has committed far worse! In fact senile Museveni arguably is the worst tyrant that’s ever (mis)ruled Uganda.
Ever since village tyrant Museveni took over in 1986 (determined to rule until the grave!), when one examines his terrible, one realizes that Idi Amin – however bloody his regime was – has nothing on Museveni! Obote perpetrated a terror regime (known as the times of “duka duka”!) but Obote has nothing of Museveni! The bloodthirsty Museveni has massacred, locked up in dungeons, “disappeared”, or maimed more people, in more brutal ways, than Amin, Obote, and Tito Okello, combined! That’s how evil senile Museveni is.
Other than imposing autocratic rule, Museveni has perpetrated the most violations of the constitution; violations of human rights; plundering of state resources to enrich himself and his cabal, and more, in ways none of his predecessors ever did.
Many times criminal despot Museveni was heard saying that he changed Uganda from bad times of Idi-Amin or Obote, and one wonders whether this deluded killer listens to himself! He killed Kayiira in the first known use of extra-judicial execution after taking power. But there was a trail of corpses even before that can be traced to killer Museveni. Of these you can start with Eliphaz Laki: Hannington Mugabi, Mwesigwa Black, Raiti Omongin, Wukwu Mpiima, and so many others!
But during his 37-year regime, the man has killed more Ugandans than the plague itself.
And he hasn’t slowed down!
As of now, there over 500 people missing in Uganda for reasons that are unknown to the public or their immediate family members, many of them have been subjected to inhumane torture while others will just be executed.
As far as human rights, rule of law index, corruption and failed states are concerned Uganda, under criminal despot Museveni ranks in the same categories of notorious countries like Somalia, South Sudan, North Korea, Yemen and more according to rights watchdogs.
Despot Museveni has plunged Uganda into financial chaos and distress far more than what Idi Amin and Obote ever did during their tenure. For instance, while the economy was shaky under Amin and Obote, in criminal despot Museveni, it is not only shaky, Uganda has never been as highly indebted like it is today. Ugandans choke on heavy foreign and domestic debts and they will continue to be so in the next 100 years, unless the debts are written off.
Where will it all end?
Uganda requires nothing less than divine intervention.
I am just a former NRA Kadogo that’s seen unbelievable atrocities by Uganda’s killer
