Inept despot Museveni is due to inspect dysfunctional Parish Development Models (PDM) next week. Everyone is asking why the dictator is interested in inspecting projects that are marred with corruption. Can a monkey be the judge in a case involving bananas?
Launched in 2020 the Parish Development Models (PDM) under the guise of eradicating poverty through the execution of development activities, have been nothing but cash cow for ruthless cronies and new avenues to corruption.
Spearheaded by his young-brother Salim Saleh, despot Museveni lied to Ugandans that each parish would get Ugx100 million to market vendors, welders, taxi drivers, boda-boda riders, women and restaurant owners who come together in form of SACCOS. That is not how it happened a year later.
As used to scandals, the first scandal that hit the project was the registration of businesses, the cronies working for the scheme, drunk on favoritism and nepotism first registered people of their choice not on merit. Three years later none of the project has taken up so far. Not that those who know how things work in Uganda would expect the difference.
Corruption in Uganda is the oxygen of the system, remove it from cronies of despot Museveni, whom he says he is going to inspect next week, and they will all starve to deaths. To them just like his corrupt in chief Museveni, Ugandans are mere slaves who should work for them, nothing else.
From the far east of Somalia in the horn of Africa to the far west of DRC, the name Museveni rhymes with nothing other than dictatorship, violence, corruption, and sowing insecurity. So what will the bloody geezer be going to inspect in PDM? Despot Museveni parish development models are nothing but new corruption sanctuaries.
