Tired dictator and criminal despot Museveni has again set himself on a tour of shame in West Nile under the guise of supervising economic development models that are marred by nothing but gross corruption.
One can only ask themselves how a monkey can ever be a judge in a case involving Bananas. Same case with a hypocritical corruption-in-chief despot Museveni, who inspects corruption marred Parish Development Models. The institutionalized corruption of Museveni runs 24 hours, seven days a week.
Sprang in 2020, the Parish Development Models (PDM) to eradicate poverty through the execution of development activities, has been nothing but a cash cow for ruthless cronies and new avenues for corruption. At least Ugx70 billion, which had earlier been marked to lift thousands of families out of abject poverty, ended up in people’s pockets.
This is a reminder that PDM was initially designated to boost market vendors, welders, taxi drivers, boda-boda riders, women, and restaurant owners who first organize themselves into SACCOs and solicit funds from respective local governments. That is not what has been happening years later.
The rampant corruption in PDM in Uganda is no different from what is happening with the iron sheets that were supposed to build roofs of thatched houses in Karamoja but ended up in some Ministers’ courtyards. Corruption in Uganda is the oxygen of the system. Remove it from the cronies of despot Museveni, and they will all starve to death.
Criminal despot Museveni cannot pretend to fight the corruption monster he has been feeding since the beginning of his bloody dictatorship.
I am just a former NRA Kadogo.
