This week has been nothing but bloodshed in the streets of Kampala and beyond. The courtesy goes to the one and only insatiable bloodthirsty dictator criminal Museveni.

From the shooting of State Minister for labor Charles Engola, to the assassination of famous vlogger Ismaili Olaxes aka Jaja Ichuli (also the President of the Uganda Bloggers Association), y- Ibrahim Tusubira, to a fruit vendor in Kagadi, the killing spree has resumed. Ugandans as ever are paying the price of living in a terror state imposed by the chief criminal of the region! You can think Uganda never turned the page on the Idi Amin era, and you will be right!

All the killings that took place this week bear similar marks of state sanctioned and sponsored assassinations. The assailants use the same techniques. Ride on masked motorbikes, mark their targets on the wee hours or late in the nights, shoot to kill and speed off leaving no traces.

Those who have followed Uganda’s bloody track record will immediately see the death of Colonel Ibrahim Abiriga, AIGP Andrew Felix Kawesi, Brendah Nantongo (daughter of Major General Wamala Katumba); Yassin Kawuma; Muhammad Kirumira and others who were gunned down in cold blood.

As a pretext to cover these killings, criminal despot Museveni will appear on public Televisions blaming Alliance Democratic Force (ADF) which is a terror group he himself created to scapegoat his own crimes. In fact he uses ADF storyline as an extra mean to kill those that he doesn’t want. So it is a systematic killing.

Since 2017, a whooping budget of more than UGX500 billion has been forked out of starving Ugandans to buy street cameras in townships and highways as one of preventive measures but results have been nothing. To date no one has ever been brought to court for those crimes. Obviously, the state cannot prosecute itself. It would be naive to think that Museveni will parade his killing squad.

No one is safe in criminal despot Museveni’s Uganda! The systematic killings that are ongoing leave one bigger question. Who is next? The same question that puts everyone one in Uganda to be in a state of fear and terror.
