Since last week’s cold-blooded assassinations that took lives of a state minister, a blogger and a fruit vendor, many police stations and other ungazetted torture dungeons in Uganda are being packed with innocent civilians, mostly Muslims, on typical concocted allegations.
The swiping which mostly target hawkers, boda boda guys, opposition supporters and politicians is in full force mostly in areas like Wakiso, Kampala and Masaka which are strongholds of people criminal despot Museveni consider enemies of his brutal dictatorship. The places have always been his crimes fallback.
During the arrests, the unprofessional law enforcers acting on reckless orders of criminal despot Museveni round people, clobber them and bundle them into masked black tainted vans and whisk them into torture dungeons or nearest police stations. Those who are lucky survive but others don’t.
Of many concocted charges that are slapped on these innocent people include, possession of fire arms (which they normally plant at their homes); indulging in illegal assemblies; public incitement, terrorism and complicit in extra-judicial killings. The bloody junta then quickly run to associate them to ADF, which is a terror group created by dictator Museveni himself.
As of now a certain Barista Timo, a blogger who was friend to the slain Isma Olaxes is being hunted for being the last person to talk to him, on framed accusations of “being an accomplice to Olaxes death”, yet the entire Uganda knows the man was shot dead by criminal Museveni’s death squads. The same way they killed, Ibrahim Abiriga, Brendah Nantongo, AIGP Felix Kaweesi, Yassin Kawuma and others.
It is a sad period to be a Ugandan, like it has always been for since the tenure of an insatiable bloody ruler Museveni, but the relief is that the dictator is mortal, a day will come and Ugandans will taste the life without repression, corruption and dictatorship.
