Criminal despot Museveni yesterday, resumed his incessant country tours, wasting national resources even when members of the public wanted him to address the issue of rampant killings that claimed lives of both nationals and foreigners.

Since the previous shootings that took lives of a State Minister for Labor, a blogger, and some businessmen in Kampala and elsewhere, the dictator has never addressed members of the public on the stand of his bloody regime against the crimes or at least communicate tougher measures his government has taken to prevent more killings.

Instead of addressing these urgent issues, the dictator traveled yesterday to Lira Municipality where he met leaders to discuss non-pressing issues like land partition, cattle rustling, NRM agenda for local government among other things. Ugandans on social media have been expressing serious discontents.

Meanwhile, out of ten suspects that were involved in shootings, only one suspect has been apprehended and the rest have been on the run. The security situation in Kampala and elsewhere has never been volatile as it is today and Ugandans are not sure whether they will live to see the next day.

Like we have always noted nothing works if politics are dead. In criminal despot Museveni’s Uganda security is not a guarantee, gun violence is the norm of the day and the ruthless dictator seems not care at all. After all, he is a bloodthirsty ruler who thrives on chaos and violence. So who will deliver Ugandans from the ongoing terror state?
