According to 2022 Human Rights and Freedoms report released last week, at least 2202 deaths related to starvation and hunger have been recorded in Kotido, Kabong, Moroto and Napak districts all in Karamoja Sub-region.

Just last months, Karamoja people were in the media because some minions working on orders of Museveni had stolen iron-sheets meant for their housing projects, now they are coming again for starvation. Famine is very notorious in that region, thanks to scavengers working for despot Museveni, they feed arrogantly on those vulnerable.

In the wake of this report where at least hundred thousands of children were declared malnourished and people had turned to eat grass and wild fruits like as well as animals, criminal despot Museveni was busy pushing some of his cronies in Parliament to enact a hefty budget bill for his beddings, clothes and footwear.

As deaths were taking turns against these innocent and deliberately marginalized section of Ugandans, food relief and donations that were given to the country by well-wishers were vanishing in a thin air under the watchful eye of criminal despot Museveni. In the same order trucks of minerals carrying mostly gold, uranium and marble which are prevalent in that area are always spotted full to the brim when they depart the area and return empty.

Is there something demonic that despot Museveni hasn’t done for these people? On top of starvation there are other form of mistreatments that people of Karamoja have been subjected to by a bloody regime of despot Museveni. Amongst them there is continuous land grabbing, cattle rustling, endless abductions, torture and extra-judicial killings.

To criminal despot Museveni, Northerners are semi-human beings and need to be treated like animals in a zoo. Sickening!
