President Joe Biden’s Government has issued a Travel Advisory due to imminent terror attacks and increasing crimes and terrorism as well as targeted violence on LGBTQI+ persons in the Ugandan regime.

According to the United States, violent crimes are emerging in Uganda where local security agencies have no capacity to quell violence. “Violent crime such as armed robbery, home invasion, and sexual assault, presents a serious threat to those visiting and residing in Uganda and can occur at any time, especially in larger cities, including Kampala and Entebbe, in the Karamoja region, and along Uganda’s western and northern borders. Local police may lack appropriate resources to respond effectively to serious crime in most areas.”

As the criminal autarch Museveni battles cancer in the ICU, things are going south in Kampala, many are wondering what will come next owing to rigorous succession politics taking place in the country. It has also been established that anti-Kampala terror outfits like ADF, and Al-Shabab are planning to strike with offensive terror attacks in the capital Kampala, Entebbe Airport and other populated cities.

Therefore, the United States has advised her citizens to not travel to Uganda and those in the country ought to exercise utmost caution and keep a low profile.
