Yesterday, a team of lawyers in Princeton, New Jersey lodged before the International Criminal Court (ICC) in Hague, a heavy legal file case against Uganda’s ruler criminal despot Museveni with fresh accusations on atrocious abuses of human rights.
Of the complaints raised before the court’s Chief Prosecution, include more than 200 testimonies accusing the bloody dictator and some of his cronies to have rattled Uganda with enforced disappearances, arbitrary arrests, illegal detention, torture, stifling of press freedom and extra judicial killings targeting opposition politicians and activists.
Alongside the chief suspect criminal despot Museveni, there are other 26 officials mostly in security organs accused of aiding and abetting the incarceration and systematic abuse of Ugandans and dissidents of the bloody regime months before and after the previous presidential elections.
In the testimonies, victims talk about how they were beaten, burned with hot irons, electrocuted, made to eat feces, forced to drink urine or had their teeth removed. They equally described being water boarded, whipped and stabbed, having chemicals thrown at them or being forced to lie down next to corpses.
Dear oppressed Ugandans, we have always stated that sooner than later, the octogenarian geezer will be answerable to his crimes and the time is ripe for Uganda’s despotic ruler to face the long-arm of the law. You can be sure the world is not going to sit idly watching a criminal ruler plunging the whole region into another bloodbath, no way.
Considering that Uganda is a signatory to Rome statute, Museveni might hide or isolate himself in his Matooke republic but the pressure is getting real for the bloody geezer and this time he might not hide any longer. Watch this space!
