Terrified Museveni sends old guards into forced retirement

Following a wave of government overthrows in parts of West Africa, criminal despot Museveni has been very nervous about facing a similar fate. The latest of his moves was to forcefully retire many historical generals who helped him ascend to power.

On the 25th of this month, UPDF announced the approved retirement of 11 generals, with 99 more senior army officers from the ranks of Major to Colonel. Just yesterday, the shameless senile dictator presided over a send-off ceremony at his state house in Nakasero.

Of the senior officers retired include former Inspector General of Police, General Kale Kayihura, Lt Gen. James Nakibus Lakara, Maj. Gen. Samuel Wasswa Mutesasira, Maj. Gen. Joseph Arocha, Maj. Gen. David Wakaalo, Brig. Gen. Austine Kasatwooki Kamanyire and others who had been serving under different portfolios.

Gen. Kale Kayihura, just like many others who were part of the bush war struggle, has previously been undergoing a serious witch-hunt by the old geezer and his cronies in the army over propped-up charges. Some were even subjected to sham trials simply because the dictator was not at ease with them.

Criminal despot and paranoid Museveni, knowing very well his bush-war comrades had grown thick and thin due to his prolonged tenure of terrible leadership, could not have waited for the right time (in the wave of military coups in Africa) to forcefully retire those old guards. He knows they know his vices and treacherous ways of clinging to power, and the best way to handle them is to strip them of all military powers.

Before the forced retirement of the UPDF senior officers, criminal despot Museveni had been conducting a series of meetings with military men both at home and in the region -to assess his vulnerability concerning the ongoing political putsches taking place in western Africa.

As we stated before, criminal despot Museveni has made Uganda worse than all his predecessors combined. It is under his 37-year rule that Uganda saw much bloodshed, corruption, starvation, dilapidating, and plummeting economy among many other things. Until he is out of the picture, Uganda will never be safe.
