Abductions, arbitrary arrests, torture, extra-judicial killings are not the only things criminal despot Museveni is known for inside Uganda, the bloody ruler is also famous for regional and transnational crimes of terrorism and political assassinations.

In 2005, Dictator Museveni assassinated John Garang to sabotage South Sudan independence process. Late John Garang Demabior, First Vice President of Sudan, chairman of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement, and the Commander in Chief of Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) was assassinated aboard a helicopter that was chartered by the Ugandan ruler.

Records have it that at the time of Garang’s demise, inept despot Museveni had been in constant talks with anti-dinka people from Nuer ethnic group who did not want John Garang to rule South Sudan. They went into close collaboration with the ruler of Matooke Republic to eliminate him in exchange for some lucrative oil deals.

Museveni militarily supported anti-Rwanda groups like RNC, RUD Urunana with an aim to cause leadership change. All reports indicate that 2019 October terror attacks which claimed lives of 14 innocent civilians in Kinigi Musanze District were coordinated and launched from Uganda with the blessing of despot Museveni. The ringleader of Urunana Maj.” Cassien Nshimiyimana alias Gavana is yet to be arrested by Uganda.

It is important to note that despite constant calls by Government of Rwanda to Uganda to cease support of Rwanda National Congress (RNC) and its agents, regional destabilizer Museveni never cared. Not only he gave them a safe haven, he tried all means possible to arm, train and deploy them to overthrow the legally established government. We all remember the shameful fate of P5 armed (armed wing of RNC) which was militarily supported by Uganda to attack Rwanda from DRC.

Terror groups like ADF in DRC remain active and threatening because they receive constant support from Museveni. Those who know Jamil Mukuu, the former rebel group leader recalls his statements during his trial about the creation and the sponsoring of ADF by Museveni as a vehicle to cause insecurity at home and in DRC. He does so to justify his presence in Congo and persecute Ugandans at home.

Criminal despot Museveni is the mastermind of regional conflicts and the great lakes countries will never experience peace as long as he is still around. Remember the bloody ruler thrives through chaos and insecurity.
