The comments of the sitting chief justice Alphonse Owiny Dollo recently on the land grabbing spree done by criminal despot Museveni and his inept government signal a looming social uprising.
Chief Justice Owiny Dollo is the recent among high ranking officials to denounce the repugnant land grabbing in Acholi region. Being himself a mcholi from, Owiny could not hold his sentiments about the land thievery by what he called Modern day Balaalo (cattle keepers).
The senior judge in criminal despot Museveni’s Uganda said that he was mostly shocked to see that schemers behind the land grabbing in his village home are people occupying big positions in the government featuring ministers and army generals.
Just to give a brief account of what has been happening, Acholi people have been infuriated on how despot Museveni has been sending Baalalo to invade their land with many of them posing as buyers when they are actually crooks. Some have gone as far as using the force to attach huge chunks of land of legal owners.
Chief Tribal of Baganda, His Majesty Kabaka Mutebi was the first to condemn the brutal land attachment done by Museveni in the central but nothing changed. Baganda tribesmen are the first victims of land grabbing by criminal despot Museveni and his closest cronies in the name of investments.
Criminal despot Museveni orchestrated a repulsive plan, using his security forces, to target even old men and women. For example, over 400 people were illegally evicted in Kamokya-Magere, 230 Luwero families were illegally evicted from their land, the 6000 households in Nakaseke illegally evicted and many others in Kajjansi Entebbe. Baganda people whose land were taken are yet to receive justice.
Ugandans in the South East are now devising means of thwarting any possible schemes that might see their land taken by the government. Many communities in Uganda have been conned that the government want to set up infrastructures which end up stalling or failing to take place.
Infrastructure projects that were undertaken under the wealth creation programs (another dubious scheme by Museveni) were abandoned while others never saw the light of the day. Some of the would be investors mostly Chinese surrendered in the middle of the works citing poor collaboration with the government.
Criminal despot Museveni a ruthless ruler who has plundered Uganda’s resources to the core thinks he can always use force to quell riots, but with high ranking officials joining the public outcry, there is sure a looming uprisal.
