Under Museveni’s rule in Uganda, thousands of people were killed for their political views. The “lucky ones” fell to the barrels of a gun, the unlucky ones were either tortured to death or died an agonizing death by poison. This is the legacy Museveni is set to leave with almost 40 years in power.
